Prepare for Cyber Essentials in one desktop app. Free for the first year.

The In-house Workspace is a desktop app for macOS and Windows that holds one organisation’s Cyber Essentials questions, answers, evidence and gaps on your own computer, then gives you each answer to copy into the official IASME portal.

How it works

What the Workspace looks like on your own screen

You answer IASME’s Cyber Essentials questions in the IASME portal. RightCyber is the desktop app where you get those answers ready, with the evidence beside them. Every picture here is a real capture of the In-house build with a fictional demo organisation loaded.

B/01

Work through the real questions

Sections A1 to A8 each carry their own ready count, and IASME’s guidance opens on the question you are answering.

B/02

Keep evidence and actions with the answer

Device and cloud questions are answered as rows. Attach files, write notes and raise actions on the question they belong to; unflagged answers still need review.

B/03

Copy into the IASME portal, one field at a time

The portal’s fields in the portal’s order, each with its own Copy button. There is no copy-all button, because RightCyber does not submit anything on your behalf.

Common questions

Before you check out

The free year, certification boundaries, which edition is yours, and what happens next.

Q/01Is it really free for the first year?

Yes. The In-house Workspace is free for the first year. A payment card is taken at checkout, nothing is charged during the free year, and the first £50 renewal is charged when it ends unless you cancel in the billing portal before then. The billing portal opens from the Manage billing button on your account page at www.rightcyber.co.uk/app.

Q/02Does RightCyber award Cyber Essentials certification?

No. RightCyber provides independent preparation tools and guidance. It is not a certification body, does not award Cyber Essentials certificates and cannot guarantee an assessment outcome.

Q/03What is the difference between In-house and Consultant?

In-house is for one organisation preparing its own Cyber Essentials work. Consultant is for MSPs, IT consultancies and Cyber Advisors managing separate client workspaces.

Q/04What happens after checkout, and when the free year ends?

The email address you used at checkout receives a sign-in link; no password is needed. Sign in at www.rightcyber.co.uk/app, download the installer for macOS or Windows and open it. There is no activation code. When the free year ends, £50 is charged for the next year unless you cancel first in the billing portal, opened from the Manage billing button on that same account page. Renewal keeps signed-in downloads, released workspace and question-set updates, and email support. If you let it lapse, the installed app and your files keep working; sign-in, downloads and support stop until you renew.
